GMC Forum _ REC _ Josuegda Mr Gilbert Rocker Lesson (for Begginers)

Posted by: josuegda Oct 18 2009, 04:06 PM

hello,

here is the lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/mr_gilbert_rocker_style_for_beginners/

As always, I used a peavey guitar and a zoom gfx8.

Kind regards.

Let´s see if the poll comes out. I´ve done what I always do when I submit a lesson.

You've got nice technique but you should work more on vibrato, bends and posture a little.
One more thing, try to record audio in a DAW, this way I hear more "dry" guitar tone
straight from cam mic instead of backing and processed guitar tone, good work tho. smile.gif

You have pretty good control. I like your take. Vibrato needs more work. I agree with Muris about the sound. We can hear "raw" guitar sound. Try to use some recording software or set the volume louder. Good work.

It's interesting that, bends and vibratos are not so accurate in the first part, conversely the fast part is absolutely good.
Nice take! smile.gif smile.gif
