It shouldn't pop out if you remove one, leaving the two ones in logical positions. If it's somewhat making an angle against the guitar, you can adjust that by tightening the screws in the back of the guitar. It (the trem) should probably horizontal with the guitar body.

Yes, the springs obviously. you need a light gauge if you wanna loosen the springs.

paralell with body, yes. however some trems have angled sides, so check that out first.

It may also be your tremolo that's too low into the body by the way.

Why do you want it looser btw? it'll pitchchange easier when your palm is resting.

You can remove one spring it will be easier definitely to depress, but you can get used to it as it is now as its a more steady version.. smile.gif

Hmm, I wouldn't suggest taking of the spring because 2 springs can be unstable and cause detuning. With a good trem system this is not a big issue of course.

I have the same issue as Rockztar. I see Kris in some movies doing the trem with his pink...You'll break your pink on mine tongue.gif

I tried to loosen the screws, but I was afraid to screw them al the way out, and also the bridge started squeeking, but that helped itself xD Don't know how laugh.gif
