Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Really good job on this Roger smile.gif

Couple of notes on it. First, some of your bends are not pitch correct, but this is not what stuck out in my mind. What you want to do is besides coming to pitch is make your bends a little slower and more deliberate. Listen to Muris a few more times and really hone in on the way he is bending. Some of your bends were too fast and it lost something because of it.

Also, some of your notes are being cut off in the hold sections, which kinda detaches the phrases. Be sure to hold the notes the full duration to create the fluidity required in playing music like this.

The last thing is Vibrato. Vibrato as i have stated on numerous occasions is a personal preference. But be aware of how it sounds to the listener. Your vibrato tended to not have any uniformity. Some vibrato was slow. some fast...some going against tempo etc. Really work on making the vibrato sing.

All in all a great job!

Daniel

Nice take Roger and as Daniel said some bends could have been more
accurate in pitch.
Same goes for vibrato, it needs some polishing
but it was very well played! smile.gif
