Whoa! I jumped a little went she went into that explosion part! Headphones turned just a little too loud! 
Anyway she did a great job, has a tremendous talent! Have to say I agree with Quadrium (she's a lot more pretty to watch than some dude like John Petrucci, and the guitar playing is an added plus

That was a surprising transformation. This Japanese girl has got it down as well..
And there is this..not convinced this is a female but guitar skills are really top notch

Argh! Girls have much easier time on Youtube, she has over 9000 subscriptions, more than David Walliman, and David is working hard making tons of video for more time than this girls account is existing to have his subscribers. Still I fully understand it, and agree about the reasons posted by casinostrat;)

Wow, this actually reminds me a lot of my own playing... except that she's got loads of more technique than I do.
But that's not talent, at least not all of it. 30% talent, 70% hard work.

It's a funny thing, though... many people consider her to be a very talented palyer. I'm sure that if she had a dozen spots and 20 more kilos, she'd get critisized a lot more. Or if she were a guy.
Not to say she doesn't play well. Since she does. But looks count, there's no escaping it. Beautiful people get accepted easier, whatever they do.

^Actually have to agree a bit there. It is indeed rare to see female guitar players (at least by comparison), and her song is structurally very sound, her tone is decent, her technique is good.
But really, she is an average to above average guitar player at best in my opinion. Not too downplay her skill, but we have "students" on here who are phenomenal and demonstrate amazing control over tone, technique, and phrasing. She is by no means bad, and is talented, no arguing that.
