After people dug the Joe Pass licks I posted last week, I thought I would follow it up by writing out and analyzing 5 of my favorite Grant Green licks.

Can't wait to dig into this! GG is one of my FAVORITE jazz players! Very excited to have you on GMC, because I love jazz and you have a ton of great learning material to add.

I'm also a huge fan of Melvin Sparks, Eric Krasno ("Kraz" from Soulive), John Scofield and Larry Carlton's funky stuff. Have you ever heard Melvin? Really unique, rhythmic style.
