Shuma13-riff Master Iii:power Metal, Lesson By: Lian Gerbino |

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Very nicely played with good hammered on and pulled off phrases, it turned out quite nice, and there are no big mistakes. I like the standing position too, although you seem a bit insecure.
There are some minor issues with timing on the palm muted parts, just slightly drifting from the drums, and the guitar is slightly out of tune/not intonated properly on some of the riffs. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

Hi man! The first part is ok but has some little timing issues. The second riff which is fastest isn't played like in the original lesson. You are not playing the same quantity of notes in the open D string. I recommend you to take this second riff and practice it at a slower tempo over the backings or metronome. You could also use the guitar pro file for this. The third part (power chords riffing) sounds good!

My impression is that your timing is wrong due to technical difficulties in recording! The guitar and backing track in the headphones are not in sync ?!?
