Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Lukasz, you've got the basics of this lesson down very well. It's only some details that need addressing:

The main riff starting at 0:16: You need to be using palm muting for this whole section otherwise the sound is just not the same. Palm muting makes it more metal !

0:43 You leave a big pause whilst getting your hands into position for the next bit. Try to make the change between rhythm and lead as seamless as possible.

For the lead part at the end, you tend to rush it.

That's my main advice for it all.. if you take some time to truly work on those areas you'll nail it smile.gif

Hey man smile.gif I agree with Ben here, so my only advice would be to slow things down and practice focused at a low speed - it'll settle the details well enough for an improved take!

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

Hey Łukasz! smile.gif

I'm afraid You still don't have a full control on Your alternate picking timming. My main suggestion would be to focus on accents. For example You can make the down strokes a bit harder and listen to the drum beats at the same moments. Try to fit those and the upstrokes will also layout better in the whole timeline. Also You can think of accents as a moments when notes changes in the left hand. Anyway I like Your progress...either in playing and tone smile.gif

Hi mate! I think that Ben has summarized the things that your have to work to master this lesson. It's not a bad take, but there are important things to improve like timing but if you focus on Ben's comments I'm sure you'll get a 10 soon. Keep on the hard work!
