Most of you probably know and heard my song "Gal's Medley" and maybe some of you remember I wrote it for a friend of mine who left the country several months ago.

Well only today, before posting this I was able to make contact with that "friend", and after asking her why doesn't she stay in touch, she had this to say:
"I don't want any contact with you, don't send me anymore messages"

People used to tell me she's a B**** and don't get involved with her, but like I ussualle do, I didn't listen because I didn't see it, she was great in my eyes and everything was great, I didn't even want to get romanticly involved with her I was just happy I had a good friend in the army, she was like a sister to me, hell she even said she loved me before she went, but it was all a lie.

I just want to die..

Maybe I shouldn't have posted it here, I don't know but I want to get my frastration out anyway possible.

sad.gif thats very sad mate

easier said than done I know, the worst part is seeking an "answer", time is the best healer plus you have your guitar and music to fall into and try and put it out of your mind.

dont let it drag you down, lifes hard enough as it is, and unfortunatly people do the strangest things for what seems no apparent reason sometimes, better to move on enjoy each day, after all we arnt around for that long so make the most of it, turn the amp up and crank it out mate! smile.gif

It's okay man, everyone at GMC is here for you dont worry smile.gif

I've had times where I've felt like this and its true you can meet some people who can just turn unpleasant without warning, but dont worry - you'll pull through, these things always look bleak but you'll get by it eventually, try to find something to distract your mind - guitar probably isnt the best idea if you associate that with her but it's always good to find something enjoyable to take your mind off things.

Hi my friend.
I'm not sure what I can say or what anyone can say to make you feel better.
But I can tell you that I know how you feel.
I've been through something similar, that's actually a big reason why I moved from France to be honnest.
I know how you feel right now.
But I garantee that time heals all wounds.
It will get better, I promise!
Hang in there mate, things will get bette, I promise!
David

It's a horrible feeling when that happens. But I guarantee you that you'll look back on it in a few years and thing "sheesh, what was that all about?". Though that doesn't help right now.

On an upnote get that guitar out. The best music tends to come out of you once your emotions are raw in some sense. Write a killer song. Get famous. smile.gif

Its terrible that these things have to happen, but at the very least they help us grow....whether we want to or not.

This is, however, an opportunity in disguise. You're going through something very profound, and your feelings are genuine. Harness that pain, embrace it, and exorcise it by creating music.

There are people out there that wish they could do that in a situation like this. Utilize your talents.

Theres nothing you cant get over without time and a guitar nearby wink.gif .

PS. where have you been, tony?

I'm sorry to hear that man.
I broke up with my girlfriend of 3 and a half years last week so I know exactly what you're going through.

My advice (or what I'm trying to do myself) is try to stay positive, keep busy and don't dwell on whats upsetting you, get plenty of fresh air and a healthy amount of sleep.

I've been through breakups before but this has been the worst for me but you just have to keep believing that it all happens for a reason and time will heal you and leave you much stronger (and wiser) as a result.

Hope that helps
David

Edit: Oh and also I personally would advise staying away from alchohol for a while, I find it makes me more emotional and if you're ever susceptable to developing a drinking habit its when you're down about something.

This kind of reminds me when my ex girlfriend left me to go abroad. I thought she loved me but she didnt... infact once she found something better she hardly even wanted to talk to me. I was so gutted every day i woke up i was near to tears ! sad.gif

Thats when I decided to play guitar and found kristofer's lovely website. It changed my life for the better! and guitar helped me move from that very sad time into great times.

Time and music practice have been great healers for me !! I hope for you too smile.gif
