LOL! ..I'd turn up your backing track smile.gif "trading licks" back and forth is always a neat thing to do, but hard to guage if your seriously trying to play in key or just clowning around...I got the feeling it was a little of both biggrin.gif
Thanks for posting! videos are fun to watch!

biggrin.gif You guys rock!

Only one suggestion - as the purpose of this video mainly was to show some chops - I would have kept the video a little shorter.
OR I would have liked to see some more melodies in there - this way the jam would have been a bit more like a song...
It would be awesome to see another jam where you have a melody which you go back to (in between the shredding) - maybe playing in unision (both together).

How about I give you some homework - you get one week to prepare a jam with a melody (could be a simple blues lick which you repeat).

So by the end of next week you upload a new vid - how does that sound?

Next time its shorter and more melodic biggrin.gif
maybe it will take a little more time. We decided to do an awsome melodi and soloing rolleyes.gif

Homework! LOL! biggrin.gif That'll teach ya! tongue.gif
Soooo...the challange is ON!!! laugh.gif

Shorter can be better, because you revealed about all you got within the first minute or so, as confirmed by the last couple of minutes.....if you clip out just the first minute or two...nobody knows that's all you got wink.gif ..And they come away wanting more.

homework completed, they have a signature riff, and they play in in harmony. Still cant make out the backing though, could be tough to balance out depending on your gear and setup. good sound with video is not always easy. Guitar tone sounded good.

Awesome - what a difference! biggrin.gif The melody in unison produced a great effect + both of your improvisations were much more interesting.

Since this is going so well I am going to give you a last homework - hope you don't mind, you want to get really good don't you? wink.gif So for next week...

Record another video, and keep all these concepts in mind (use the same melody if you want) but also include some riff playing, both in unison and as accompaniment when the other is soloing.

If poissble, try to kick it around a little bit (pretend you are on stage). I know this really isn't natural to do in your bedroom, still I am quite sure it affects what people think about your performance.

Will you give it another shot...?
