I always thought the Blue Voodoo was a rad amp. (didn't Sammy Hagar have a signature 'Red Voodoo' series?) Hey bro - I haven't boosted the tone on this one We currently play in 3 guitars and we need to keep it pretty clean actually, so that the live sound will be crushing but defined in the same time. I haven't yet played it for more complex lead stuff, but for riffage, clean and themes, it's a great amp so far! I will be performing as a guitar player and as a vocalist in DOC. We're currently having 3 voices, 3 guitars, bass and drums and also synths, ambients and additional vox on the backing tracks It's gonna be a killer live show! I had SO much fun and it responded so nicely I boosted it with the Shiba Drive this time, as for Pantera tunes, it works out just great. Great dynamics and bite on the drive channel and a nice clean as well. The only downside - when I switch channels there's a little bit of a lag - I should look into that and see if I can do something about it. I played on my PRS Paul Allender tuned to C# standard and on a PRS C24 USA made for the Eb tuning. The C24 is a less aggressive guitar and I felt it pretty much, because of the comparison I was able to draw between it and the Paul Allender.
