GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ I Missed It!

I have singled out this guitar as my next purchase. I love its versitility. And I think it looks great too.

It costs over $2000 but I found one on ebay going really cheaply. I bid £450, I had to go do something before the auction ended and it went for £460. I lost!! sad.gif

Will I ever get as good a chance again?

How long ago did it go at that price? I think Velvet Roger might've bought that one smile.gif

It was on Sunday.

Velvet Roger has a BM too but not that one.

Sorry to hear that. With ebay its always good to enter your max bid so that the system bids for you automatically.

Max bid is cool but it doesn't work always,
specially when seller has an extra "buyer" working with him
so he outbid you on purpose. smile.gif

Well Snipping is a good option..I do it most of the times.

Ah you are right Muris! I have always thought there was some cheating going on in the bidding process. I guess it happens and ebay can't prevent it.

Yeah, no one can.
But good thing is that you can spot those "buyers" quite easily,
usually they have no or just a few units bought or sold
with user names like 3***m, X****4 etc. smile.gif

I have ordered one now from a shop but it cost me a lot lot more ! dry.gif

Will post some pics when it arrives.

The one I have ordered has a piezo which is what I was after. It can also be connected to a guitar synth which looks like it could be fun to experiment with.
