My band and I came up with a couple of new songs with a new singer that we got about 2 months ago.
After those first couple of practices the singer failed to turn up for the next 5, including one show and so we've decided to find a new singer.

Those music for the songs we wrote was done by us (drums, gat, bass), and the singer came up with vocal melody for one and words for the other. My question is, is it alright for us to still use these songs? Or would we have to find new melody/words when we get a new singer? (from a legal and ethical perspective)

Is it just me, or are all the times on the "Latest Forum Topics" saying a negative time?

So I just finished my last high school exam! I'm free! So much relief.
I can finally put some serious time into guitar, and everything else.
Off to uni next year to do engineering.

Yup, just wanted to say that!

Hi there,

I've got a quick question about what a digitally remastered album is.
For example, they have just released a new Led Zeppelin album, digitally remastered.

From what I have gathered, mastering is the process by which the mixed tracks are all set to the same level and made ready for putting on to CDs, so I can't work out what they mean by releasing these albums.

Cheers,
Sam

Does anyone know how Martin Barre from Jethro Tull managed to get his distorted guitar sound? (Aqualung, in particular)
It seems to be pretty unique to him.

Cheers.
