GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ New Top Dog Of Powerful Luxury Automobiles?

With a 6 litre, twin turbocharged, 700 Horsepower 12 cylinder powerplant, is this Bently the new top dog in the class of extremely powerful luxury automobiles? Maybe it is the new top dog, maybe not. But it certainly looks to be a big mean nasty dog when it comes to power.
these sort of car do not make me dream...... too expensive, too much everything

I would take either one as long as someone else was paying! If my own money was on the table though, it would probably be either something German (Shocker I know) like an audi a10 or a HELLCAT. Of course, this assumes I win the lottery

Yeah, it's a bit much for me as well, but then again, I am not a multimillionaire and even if I were I am still not so sure I would go that route.
On the other hand, Alfa's rock! A rock solid performance automobile tried and tested.

A hellcat eh? Man you would be surprised how many of those things are on the roads up here in AK. To me they are great and I love them but they are not really practical up here especially in the winter. My newest ride is a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk edition. It has been a great winter car.

If only I had the money to get one shipped!!! In the meantime I'll just make-do with what I can afford to build myself!!

Yep, for a 4 cylinder car, it is very much wantable!

Either you're signing an autograph or writing out a speed ticket
In truth I was filling out a Spec Sheet to enter it in the Show at that particular Rally!! Didn't win anything there but it did lead to a feature in a well known Bike Mag!!

Back Street Heroes?? The ones with the ladies?

I'm sure that was it I think he was on the cover with that black beauty and that pony tail. The black headers are a nice touch as well I think the engine is bigger than a Corvette from the look of it.
I used to ride myself, many moons ago. I was more into "Rice Burners" as they were called. Super Bikes that folks liked to race around tracks and such. It was a smaller engine, high compression, torquey. The Yamaha SRX250. Cost me a broken back, but it was very fun to ride
This bike was my first Near Death Experience and cured me from bikes and sent me on to the safety of super light street legal race cars which gave me my second Near Death Experience, the Toyota MR2. My second broken back, 3 broken ribs, cracked skull, concussion, retrograde amnesia (7 days) and all around fun.
I've since switched to the ever exciting, VW Passat I chose it mainly for it's great passenger visibility and crash test rating. I got it from carvana.com so I bought it online and they delivered it to my house which was nice

Not this bike in BSH, no! Funny thing is, that Photo was in BSH but the article was in a now defunct Mag called AWOL (Alternative Way Of Life), it was a sister Mag to BSH but instead of featuring big Buck Customs they ran with more low budget/self built types of Bike. We did have a couple of small features in BSH though, a 2.0L Pinto powered Trike and a V6 Diesel Trike!! Todd, I know it doesn't show very well but those Headers are Stainless Steel and have coloured from Blue through Purple to a fade about halfway down! It's nowhere near the size of a Corvette, it's only a 1976 Suzuki GS 850cc!!
Damn, sorry to hear about your unfortunate experiences mate!

Being young and stupid was something I really excelled at I suffered from a strong sense of complete invincibility. Despite my first near death experience, I was certain it was a fluke. After the second one I realized it was me. Being stupid. Stupid on the road, stupid near a bottle of anything interesting, just stupid in general. It's only when the injuries calcify and the chronic pain sets in that you realize the depth of your youthful blissful ingorance. Some folks escape their youth with only a few scratches/broken bones, or maybe an un planned pregnancy. I wasn't quite so lucky.
For all of you that have kids, I'd say try not to give them a motorcycle at 17, then a sports car at after they wreck the bike. Buy them something very boring, or make them buy it themselves, and make sure it's offensive to the ladies It will reduce the visits to the hospital for injury and pregnancy. Just some thoughts from a very beat up guy who refused to listen to anyone
That is a very spiff bike in that pic though. I see the fade on the headers now! Spiff 850 is a pretty big engine imho. Drove one once and could barely hang on to handlebars when I tried to show off and pull a wheelie. Wasn't even my bike. Never tried one of the 1000, 1100 cc beasts that were popular at the time. Probably best for everyone
Todd
Wasted on the young as they say.

I think we all had that sense of invincibility when we were younger and as we grow older (and sometimes wiser) we seem to all agree that it is, indeed, wasted on the young!!
