I would get something with emg 81/85's in it... but thats me, i love the active pickups for that nasty metal sound

I prefer passives to actives, but that's just me. And the axe...isn't pointy enough.

The guitar is fine, I used a Horizon myself for some years while I was still playing ESP, but I would also go for the EMG pickups for sure.

I really really want an Horizon! .. and i wouldnt have wanted one if it werent good for metal
