Hi Mike,
Great to see you in the forum. When I'm learning new songs and I have troubles hearing the certain parts, I usually go to youtube and search for some (good) covers of the song or live recordings by the artist where guitar is visible. That way it is possible to get some visual clues what is being played, how and in which position on the fretboard. There is also a neat software called : Amazing Slow Downer which allows you to slow down the audio without loosing pitch. Audio quality doesn't get degraded and the more you slow the recording down, quality gets worse but it does help to hear the tricky passages. If I understood right, you are looking for tips on how to play the chord/fills part which happens between 0:52-1:02 in this recording : Does anyone has any tips/clues about this? p.s. thanks for sharing this song, that is a wicked bass solo in there! -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
