Original lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Stevie_Ray_Vaughan_Inspired_Phrasing/

Thought I give it another try :) I couldn't get that tone that Jonathan has because I have single coils , but I like the way it sounds this say.

Hi mate, this is not an easy lesson and I think that you did a very good effort with it. The overal lesson sounds cool, you have a good energy in the video. Compared to Jonathan's take, I can note that your tone and playing is cleaner, it lacks that dirty SRV characteristic sound, playing even with more aggression (mostly from your left hand) can really help. There are also some licks that need a bit of work, mostly the ones played in the last part. The tone is ok, but I think that you could get a bigger tone with this guitar, I would add some more drive and mids.

OK mate, again, it's a good take, I hope that my comments give you some ideas on how to improve it.

Keep on rocking!

Hey Alex!

Mate, I agree with Gabriel and the only suggestion I can come up with, is that you should play the lesson a bit more and focus on the interpretation and execution of the licks that sound a bit unpolished.

Otherwise, as Gabe said - good energy man! I missed your takes biggrin.gif

Cheers!

Cosmin

PS: Hope that things with Diesel are working out fine!

Very nice performance. It's clear You feel the blues smile.gif I'm not sure You noticed that You put the backing track to the mono track wink.gif Check out on headphones wink.gif. There are some details to work on - a few moments when fingers slip and the whole thing goes out of timming as well. But...You have a great potential in case of blues dynamics and tone from the hand. Keep up the good work and spend a bit more time to make this one perfect! smile.gif
