Apple New Os Release

Now that apple products are all basically mobile products, they all run the same operating system. Some handy new features have come out as shown in this video. I'm not really all that impressed yet as none of it is music related. however, I have seen that 2012 MAcbook Pro notebooks which are great for running LOGIC X have come down to below $500.

I read somewhere they started producing the M2 chip. No idea when it will be released in a product though.

Yup!!! The current line is all based on the latest iphone so they just put an iphone in a case or laptop and bam it's a new unit. The ram restriction is because the phone chipset doesn't allow more ram than 16 gb. After all, most phones don't need much more. The next chip set will be built for actual desktop units instead of being a mod of the phone platform.
