Wilkinson Trems And Others, any opinions? Options

Hey folks!
I'm going to start work on a new project soonish and I'm thinking about using a trem other than the Floyd Rose.
I've heard of, but never tried/witnessed a Wilkinson trem. So does anyone have experience and opinions of this model?
Or any other suggestions or opinions for trems?
Things I'd like to know: Stability (although this project is not about having a trem for me to welly to heck out of), sustain, smoothness/feel, prettiness, what are the best wines to drink with it.. anything.
