I'm really interrsted in getting the line6 backtrack, so i was wondering if anyone has one or knows what its like. It seems a really good idea to me as i love to improvise. plus the shop near me is selling one for about £50, i think thats about $75 or 50 euros

If you love to improvise, it will definitely be a useful tool. I use loop function a lot when jamming at home, and really couldn't do without one now. It's a great tool. Not sure how this particular unit behaves tho, you should check it out in the store before you buy it. Cheers man smile.gif

I've got my computer recording most of the time when practicing or improvising so I can criticize myself. But this could be really handy when you are jamming without a computer/recording studio somewhere. And £50 sounds like a great deal!

I use Boss DD20 delay pedal. It has 23 seconds of loop time, which is not much but it serves well for my jamming sessions. I would definitely get a loop pedal if I didn't had that delay pedal already, but this serves the job quite good.

Just check it out, you can get recording interface like line6 toneport GX and hook it up to computer and record as much as you want (and it should be a little cheaper)...But that Backtrack unit also seems very interesting and if you need a looper - go for it...

Excellent.Let us know how it goes smile.gif

You can also test for comparason Boss Loop station RC-2 , or even RC-20XL pedals , they do the same thing, but they are much more expensive!
