I play Guitar for about a year...
I do some solo, for example... Comfortably numb, The Wall, and some Guns N Roses.
I want know if playing songs i can improve my skill.
which exercises to improve my skills?
Give me some help!

I think its great to learn how to play solos from songs and such but its also very good to do excercises. We got tons of excercises here at GMC.

Muris wrote somewhere on the forum, that each exercise should be a lick, and each lick should be an exercise. It doesn't matter so much what You will play, as long as You do it in the right way --> clean and precise AND it will be above Your comfort playing zone. Of course playing a song that has no legato parts won't help You with improving legato, but an alternate picking exercise won't help You in it either.
