For that budget (well, maybe a bit more), you could get an Epiphone Les Paul Custom. For 400 you can get an Epi Les Paul, but I'd really save a bit more and get the custom intead.

I'd suggest you to try the Hagstrom Ultra Swede if you can find a dealer, it's just under 400Euros. I have one and I love it. It's not exactly a les paul replica, its lighter (made of basswood), brighter and its neck is super slim.
The tone is still quite fat, but may be coil-tapped which is awesome for cleans. Chech it out at thomann |

Epiphone LP Custom is a safe bet, I like that guitar. It's not that defined and with that much low end as GIbson LP, but it's the closest thing next to it. If you are planning on upgrading to GIbson in long term, I would advise this one.

You can try esp ltd f-10 also.I have been using it for 3 months and i like it
