It might just be your recording equipment though, but just an advice edit: Well I'm at work on the smallest pc-speakers ever, so that might be the reason too I'll give it another listen when I get home! It can become something good. I'm not sure If you can make some drums under it, and make the guitar a little bit heavier. More middle and bass and you've got a good beginning. Yea, I had the bass all the way down because I recorded this at at 4 am, and I didn't want to wake my roommate . I haven't spent much time messing with effects since I'm still using this really crappy starter amp that came with my guitar heh. I do plan on getting a better one soon though. As far as drums and bass go, do you mean software? If so, that would be really cool. Btw, what would you recommend for a good versatile amp in the $100 price range? Thanks for the feedback. Tony Hehe, you're a good friend Ok, yeah it's a good idea to spend money on an amp you're happy with.. Makes you sound better and that makes you wanna play more Yeah, if you don't have the software to record more instruments and you got a song you wanna hear in a "band situation", I can help you out if you want.. I don't mind recording them for you, or helping you out with recommending software you could use As far as an amp goes, I'd advise you to spend a little more than $100. The VOX AD30VT (Valvetronix) amp you can get for under $200 on Ebay, and that's a really good amp! I got the bigger version, VOX AD50VT 2x12, and I absolutely love it There is also a cheaper VOX AD15VT, but I'm not sure of the price. This should probably be more then enough for home practicing. What's also great about these amps is that there is a Line-out recording output which makes you record with the guitarsound in the amp with really great results The built in effects are really good as well!! You also have Marshall MG15 DFX at $150. Musiciansfriend.com sells Line6 Spider III 15 15W 1x8 Guitar Combo at $99 And the Roland Cube 20x is also a very good choice at around $100 There is also a few Crate and Kustom amps, but I've never tried these myself.. There might be others knowing of more amps in your pricerange as well, the most important thing is that you get something you're happy with and like the sound of! If there's anything else, just ask! Thanks for you suggestions. I'll do some more research and decide soon. A friend of a friend offered to get me a good on his old Marshall AVT20 ($50 instead of $200 new).
