> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey mate smile.gif This is building up quite nicely and I think you nailed the ensemble view, but let's take a look at the details:

- the riff part, up to 0:32 is not dead on with the groove - there's a slight delay in your playing, almost imperceptible but it stalls the groove somehow so, please focus on playing in perfect balance with the backing track wink.gif
- around 01:00 there was a slide which sounded a bit hesitant
- 01:25 - the bends are a bit under the pitch and the playing could be tighter in the phrase that follows

I think that you can make this sound great if you fix these issues wink.gif

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

I agree with Cosmin's observations. Also, don't forget to add the little bends that Piotr puts in the main lead lines at 0:41 and 0:52 smile.gif

You'll get there.. the more you do it, the better you get !

Very nice! You timming is better and also the precision! Very nice bends smile.gif I think that the last few seconds needs most improvements. from the first bends I'm sure Your hearing is pretty descent and further problems probably come from unstable vibrato+bending technique. You should really focus on that - when You bend and then vibrate the note, then it goes out of pitch. Try to master this technique \m/

Hi mate! I can see you working hard and that's great! As Cosmin and Ben perfectly marked there are some things to improve on this one. Besides those pitch issues in the bending sections I can also hear some timing details to improve in the first rhythm. I think that you should ad into your diary routine some bending training. I think that I already shared with you that Satriani's video with the exercise so keep on using it.

Oh, these guys said everything smile.gif I can't remember the last time I saw you playing - maybe 3 years. I have to admit that your progress is great! Just focus on vibrato and bends - it's eveyrthing you need.
Cheers!
