I posted a while back about only having a stills camera for my videos. Obviously it has video capability but there is no rotating screen so for a long time I used a mirror at the back. This was a bit of a ball ache. The other night I had a brain wave, such a simple idea but so effective. I got a piece of thin aluminium, drilled a hole in one end and put my very cheap and cheerful webcam at the end behind the camera. Now when I want to record, I can open up a webcam video in movie maker on my PC monitor and see what the rear facing screen is displaying.
