Tapping Questions

Tapping on high E string goes well, but its much harder on the other strings, especially the thick ones, any special things i have to think about? how do i tap these strings? i jus cant! The more you do it the better you'll get and the less it will hurt. You have to build up your hand strength and you need to develop your calluses.
