i was wondering how these collaberation thingies work... i'd like to take part in one but is it just for experienced users or what?
if not then how does it all work? does one person make a backing track with rythm guitars etc then the others just solo over it? maybe a simple tutorial/explenation stickied to the top of the collaberation forum for all us newbies might help?  cheers for readin Chris -------------------- Guitars: Epiphone Les Paul Standard w/ Dual EMG 81 Pickups. In fact even the backing track isn't necessarily set in stone - in Marcus collaboration he interactively wrote a song with members

i'd say i have sufficient recording/mixing knowledge.... the only thing i need is some good drum software that doesnt cost too much, ive seen a few ppl talk about drum software on the site so ill have a look around see if i can find anything.
just waiting on my POD X3 now i cant wait

If you wanna make BT without recording audio ,Reason is great tool for you.
Still,you'll need audio sequencer to mix it all together(thinking of collab's takes) but Reaper is more than enough for that.

well at the moment i have 4 inputs into my PC using m-audio technology's which i use cubase with. thats all i have.
