I know about this events and bands but I haven't seen this doc! I have a unique/weird feeling every time I read or see something about this scene... I like it but I hate it...

spent the entire weekend immersed in norwegian black metal just went and bought the 20th anniversary edition of Darkthrones ' a blaze in the northern sky'. not really my type of music but there's something about it that really fascinates me. It honestly took me a bit of time to get past the initial overall sound but the atmosphere and chords etc are really cool.
Im looking at getting the book - Lords of chaos anyone read it, or similar books? -------------------- You say 'minor pentatonic ' like it's a bad thing |

Im looking at getting the book - Lords of chaos anyone read it, or similar books? I've got it.. it's very extensive and well detailed. Also quite depressing in many places but worth a read. spent the entire weekend immersed in norwegian black metal just went and bought the 20th anniversary edition of Darkthrones ' a blaze in the northern sky'. not really my type of music but there's something about it that really fascinates me. It honestly took me a bit of time to get past the initial overall sound but the atmosphere and chords etc are really cool. I remember when I bought a Darkthrone album, 'Under a Funeral Moon'.. I knew they were supposed to be really Lo-Fi but I wasn't too impressed and never listened to it more than a couple of times. |
