Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! Congrats on this fantastic take!! You did a killer job, there are just some little timing issues in the fast palm muting section between 00:30 and 00:45, the other parts are perfect!

Keep on the fantastic work! smile.gif

Hey bro! Everything sounded swell to me! I think you are there with the technique, tone and timing, but aside Gabi's observations, I would add the fact that the alternate picking in sections such as 01:00 ould be done more from the wrist, if you wish to explore other variations of this technique. In your case the result is ok, but it's recommended to try the wrist motion as well, just so that you would be ready if the situation ever calls for it.

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

This was a very strong performance.

As the guys said, you have some very slight timing issues during the fast palm muted section. So some more work with alternate picking to a backing track, song or a metronome will help you tighten up this technique.

You tend to push the notes out of key at 0:56 & 1:02. This might be because you're trying to attempt vibrato during a quick guitar line. If you keep the vibrato smaller there you won't get that weird effect.

Good work !
