my lead skills are pretty good im practicing lvl 7 and 8 lessons and doing pretty good but for some reason i am having a lot of trouble with my rhythm skills. i cant even do your new lesson and you said its for people who just got a guitar.
any suggestions on how i can work out my rhythm skills?
i never thought rhythm and lead are such different skills. i think rhythm players are way underestimated. oh and i don't have any trouble with pinches now but i remember how much i struggled at first.

well, in the metal world, there´s no rhythm players and lead players separated, one guitar player have to be really really good on both aspect.
so, many many times, in metal offcourse, the bases (riffes, verses, even chorus like in Nevermore) are 100 % more difficult than a solo. so, I think, if you are having problems with it, let´s start as soon you can to improve your rhythm skills.
if you want, we could work together, something like the mentored program but only you and me to focus exclusively on what you nee right now...
tell me what you think, and I´ll start to work on it

oh and another thing i was trying out your rammstein number one and i think the tab is a bit off because when you play the first riff you wrote

about a the "mentored"
I was thinking in 7 exercises completely based on rhythm, one per day, and in a week we´ll evaluate your progrees, and see what happens tongue.gif
I can create a Gp file every day, with an Mp3 as a guide.
