I was reading THIS topic on the forums the other day and it got me poking around on the Ibanez website.

funny thing is up until a couple of months ago I wasnt a huge Ibanez fan, more of a Jackson (and of course my custom smile.gif) fan, I bought as a backup an Ibanez RG1570 prestige, it was cheap on ebay, well I loved it from the moment I first picked it up and its pretty much become my main axe, especially since I`ve changed the pups and getting a tone that I like out of it smile.gif

anyways, poking around I really liked the look of the S series prestige models, searching the net for prices and they are pretty pricey, ranging from £800 - £1000 (UK stirling), I decided to have a poke on ebay as well, just to see what was going on of course, not to buy.... just looking... honest wink.gif

Well I stumbled accross an S2170 prestige, couldnt help myself! had to have it laugh.gif so I went straight in there and won the thing! biggrin.gif

Picking it up tonight! cant wait to get it home smile.gif

Couple of pics from the ebay listing but I`ll take some proper photos when I get it to try and capture the colour (Purple chameleon)

VERY nice!!!!!

I've been eyeballing one of those as well. The last 2 guitars I bought barely won out over a Prestige S model.

SWEET!!!
Those Prestige series are lovely instruments, I had a Natural Finish with a Walnut Cap!
Had to sell it to cover the rent a while back! Shame!

biggrin.gif well I`ve just got home from colecting the new baby! biggrin.gif

It was fairly close to a friends house so I dropped in there hence why its so late!

I`m kind of speechless about it, turns out the guitar is only a few months old, not a single mark on it, not even a pick scratch, completly 100% perfect, like brand new! It looks way better in the flesh, the photos dont do it justice at all!

Cant wait to get some serious playing out of it tomorrow! biggrin.gif
