..at least for us Hendrix lovers and for those who has Spotify Premium. (the album is supposed to be released the 9'th though)
Im talking bout 12 previously unreleased takes, that Hendrix family now put out on a record entitled "Valleys of Neptune".
The track list can be seen below, here is also some never heard songs! At the first listening it sounds very good both
soundwise and playing-wise, the sound-tech's really improved that old tapes and it's a clear distinct sound, much better than
the re-mastered one's from the 60's.

Tracks:
01. Stone Free
02. Valleys Of Neptune
03. Bleeding Heart
04. Hear My Train A Comin’
05. Mr. Bad Luck
06. Sunshine Of Your Love
07. Lover Man
08. Ships Passing Through The Night
09. Fire
10. Red House
11. Lullaby For The Summer
12. Crying Blue Rain’

I will be checking this one out big time. I will always consider Hendrix to be one the great.. if not greatest creative geniuses of our time. What he did, coupled with when he did it, is simply amazing. To think that the guy died at 27.. what a shame.

Yeah, it really was. No one can ever really understand what he did for the electric guitar. Everyone - and then I mean EVERYONE was influented by him at that time, clapton, Jeff Beck, Blackmore, Jimmy Page..... and he also branded Marshall....

This record sounds very good so far, its a killer version of "Red House", one of the best i heard as well as a lot of other takes I never heard before, even at bootlegs.

I'm getting this one!!
Another given album for 2010 is ZZ Top's studio album. They claim they went back to their roots for this one.
