For those that don't know, Gearmandude AKA Jack black has been doing some great pedal demos as of late. The newest pedal, the EH Big Muff with Tone and Wicker seems like a great fuzz pedal. I'm going to buy one next week. No he hasn't come out and admitted he's jack black, but it is, you can tell by the voice, comedy, vocal mannerisms etc...anyway cool pedal, can't wait to get it, it basically starts off where the big muff left off, much more volume, better at cutting through the mix and more versatility.

Thats the combo version of my amp! biggrin.gif Maybe they used a DR Z on the tenacious d album?! But then I don't know how much of the guitar Jack Black plays on the albums.

Want to get myself a Big Muff, but might wait it out and get a good Russian Muff on ebay. Or maybe wait for a skreddy mayo/pink flesh pedal to come up, but they hardly ever do.

It really is a beautiful amp, so much tone in that beast. So touch responsive as well. haven't yet had the chance to naturally crank this baby up, and don't like putting things in front of it at the moment as my patch cables suck out the tone far too much!!

right on man, jack is awesome.

I sent him some mail, (not mentioning anything about being jack...just his amp settings to get his sort of blues tone questions).. See if he replies hehe.

Yeah he can play well, but I haven't seen his name anywhere on the videos, or his face so can't tell if it's him or not. Probably it is, I must have missed the name somewhere unsure.gif

There seems to be some mystery surrounding this. It doesnt say anywhere that its him.

A friend of mine says he saw somewhere that it wasnt.

But he cant remember where.

I'm pretty sold that its him. His mannerisms and speech are pretty unique. And I can totally see him doing this.
