You can learn that song on any instrument And I must add Violin is extremely fun!!!!
But really hard to play, its too easy to hit sour notes. As you heard from my attachment

You're on your way, though - and no, it's not just "blind encouragement" - I've heard much worse bow feeling for a beginner trying out the instrument

Posted by: Hemlok Jul 14 2007, 02:22 PM

Arpeggios from Hell on violin would be a disgrace to the violin!
Oh, and yes, your intonation is of course way off, but that takes years anyway
Might start out with tape markings for guidance - like "virtual frets"
Just keep in mind to remove them again sooner rather than later.

Ah yes Kaneda thanks for reminding me, I did plan on making tape markers, or painting a little design. Tape markers seems like the way to go.. I am no artist.

well since I have not played since i recorded that, you will be in for a treat.
Posted by: Alucard Dec 9 2007, 02:24 AM
Ha, it sounded like 10,000 cats getting their tails stepped on at the exact same moment. But if i tried playing a violin, it would be 20,000...
Hey, who knows, with practice you may become very good!

I have 8 cats and one mega catbox. I listened to your recording about 10 minutes ago. Then one of my cats gave me the "clean out the cat box look". So I cleaned out the cat box. My enjoyment level definitely increased over that of prior 10 minutes.
Just kidding. Actually you fine, under the circumstances. And none of my cats howled when I played your song, that is always a good sign.

Gee thanks,
I like your piddle emoticon by the way. I think Kris needs to add it to the list.
