I am sure one of our Jazz Players could pull it off, Django was way ahead of his time, I find it surprising he doesn't get the attention he should, or maybe he used to, not in my time tho.

I only found out about him by watching a Michael Angelo Batio video, he said he stole a lick from Django, and that Django had stolen it from Mozart or some classical Musician, after that I did some research to find his music, it was almost impossible in Ecuador, I was able to download a few songs and heard some amazing picking patterns and I couldn't believe this was so long ago and he only had 2 working fingers to play lead.

I am doing one in Django style. Something like Minor Swing. I don't know when I am going to finish it as I need to make good acoustic guitar setup for that (good mic, good room, acoustic backing track, etc...). Probably next month I can upload it.

I see this was your first post so welcome to GMC.

I've made a lesson in the style of jazz manouche, django reindhart, or even Stochelo Rosenberg or Angelo Debarre. It's gonna be on the site soon. A little bit of patience.

Cool, I want to see that lesson.
I recorded one gipsy lesson, and plan to do few more, like series. However, gypsy jazz is a wide topic and I it is pity that I cannot do 50 lesson series.

I hope you will help me:)

Hey sorry for the delay , thanx everybody for your welcome!!!
I'm gonna learn your lessons guys...don't have so much time ...I found a job ... laugh.gif
I think for me the most difficult thing in gipsy jazz is the way you have to attack the strings, i mean very strongly ( i know it depends...) and without putting your hand(right one for me) on the guitar ...it's a new way to play
