GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Legato

So influential for me has been Joe Satriani. As a left hander, who was made to learn right handed, legato came very easily, which was great as I struggled with speed picking.
I feel legato playing should be a part of every players arsenal as the clarity and seamless connection creates a magical flow.

yeah! Satch legato technique is awesome. I love his job in Surfing with the alien album, for example in this song:
