I just have to say this is the most fun theme ever!
Very interesting to see all your personal touch and different arrangements when you excel in a familiar piece.

Hello, it has been a year since I first heard Canon Rock and was blown away by it. Since then I have learned it on guitar, and it has been my #1 favorite song to cover. It is probably my favorite instrumental ever. I have heard tons of people constantly bashing it for being "stupid," "unoriginal," or other things, but I don't understand why, it is AMAZING every time I hear it. So I would like to thank all the instructors today on all their wonderful Canon in D arrangements, which I will be learning every single one of them, and for possibly the greatest GMC lesson so far (at least for me biggrin.gif)

Yes, I love the new Canon lessons, all of them are great!

Personally I don't like Canon Rock, it's a good song, but I'm sick of hearing it. And I hate it when people ask me if I play guitar, I say yes, then they ask me if I can play Canon Rock.

When i first saw it and heard the classical version of canon, I didn't think it was going to be that good, but when I heard everyones versions of it I was blown away. It was really interesting to see one tune in so many different styles. I really like that tune a lot now, and the classical version. smile.gif

I'm amazed ^^ I like Cannon Rock, but most youtube versions sound the same. This made me enjoy the song again ^^

I hope more instructors will post their takes as well? =)
