Thanks! Since the compliments are flowing, I loved your Locrian solo in the last collab, it has a real haunting quality and I find it going around in my head a lot smile.gif

smile.gif thanks

this collaboration is really helping, I feel for my sake I'm trying modes I wouldn't touch otherwise.

Time for an update!
Everything I have so far sounds great and I can't wait to post it here with comments on your leads...
I still need these leads before I can do that:

Ezravdb : A Lydian

Alimo: B Lydian

Leadbreak: C#

Nick325: D#

Owen: G

Thanks!

Yeah, me too - I never really played Lydian until this, now I love it, and find it really easy to think in!

Thanks Jeff, glad you like it! smile.gif
You see,I did few takes and picked that one.
It's all full improvisation, not only notes but timing as well.
Some runs there are really tricky to be written in tab, regarding to time duration blink.gif

Wow man, its reallly, reallly inspiring to hear that you improvised that whole piece, and made is sound amazing. I had to sit down and write out my solo improvising for a few hours over the backing track, re-used the really cool riffs that happened to come up, tabbed it out, and comprised a solo from it... tongue.gif (cheated !^_^)

Hey Walliman,

Here's my solo.
I used the A Lydian scale and C# pentatonic scale (kind of).

Well, finally I have found the time to get mine together. And maybe at the right tempo, this time. Wish we could have made it twice as long.

Thanks Andrew, I also liked your as well. Great feel to it and I can tell you put some effort into it and did not just record something.

These Collaborations are a great way to break into new ideas and add some scales to our arsenal. I have played a lot of C# Lydian since my addition.

And I get to share C# with you know who blink.gif I made it a point to complete mine before I listened to his.

Sorry it took so long to get it up here, its been recorded for like 2 days now but I was self conscious about posting it since it was my first time with any of this so go easy on me biggrin.gif
It was a lot of fun and a great learning experience so hopefully my next try comes out a lot better.
