Problem With Cookies, Maybe |

Any suggestion to what I can do to solve this problem.
Ever so often I get logged out from GMC, for no reason. I had my cart loaded with movies at a webshop, and it had been there for weeks while I was adding new dvd's until suddenly it emptied, I don't understand why. I also use this laptop (it just occurs on one laptop) sometimes to book parcels that I send from our business. From time to time all preentries like our company name, address and other information gets deleted, like before for seemingly no reason. Any ideas to why it, what it seems, randomly deletes carts etc. As I understand it's all around information stored in cookies. Changing how the windows treats cookies didn't help at all. ...and when logging out of Hotmail I always get stuck on fail, says it couldn't log out from msn live.
Trying to log into another account (I have a screen with several accounts with preset passwords) and when I press login I get the error "wrong password". Something gets mixed up there too! I think cookies... and milk -------------------- My bands homepage

I don't know how to solve this, happens to me from time to time.Some cookies have a expiry "date" after which they don't work and you need a new one...Also it may be your browser deleting cookies , maybe there is a setting for it to keep em forever.

When we log in the system uses "session" while cookies are for keeping our GMC settings (colors, display settings...). At least I hope that system works like this as every other similar site uses this concept. Sessions are also some kind of cookies but they get lost when you close the browser while normal cookies are there until you delete them yourself. Check your browser settings and make sure that nothing is deleted automaticaly. Have you tried different browser? I havn't tried another browser, could maybe do the trick.
I'll concider just switching browsers or, since this computer is heavily "polluted" I might just format it and give it to the kids, then I'll take the wifes core-2 laptop for my music and she'll get one of those mini-laptops she wants. But first I will try Google Chrome (I belive Firefox shares it's settings with IE so that might be wrong) -------------------- My bands homepage

Firefox works great and you don't need to import IE settings during installation. It will ask you to do that. Chrome should also work ok. The best thing is to format that drive and give the computer to kids. Use core 2 man, that's a proper stuff
