I always hear about guitarist's such as Zakk Wylde, Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Ect always practice for a lot of hours during the day, but what was there practice schedule like?? Sorry if this sounds stupid
I'm not sure what was their practice schedule like but I can quote one nice sentence here that has to do something with this topic:
"I've never met a guitar hero that didn't eat guitar, drink guitar and sleep guitar"
thats a good one thanks lol
Meh.. totally agreed. I can feel it on myself, that guitar can be quite consuming. You sit at your lunch, and that lick you practiced few minutes ago still rings in your ears and your fingers still copy that movement.. You are sitting at school and in your Law exercise book, you paint scale diagrams and train chord building...
I really don't think they had any
They for sure had a schedule, but of course I have no idea what exactly it looked like. But those guys for sure didn't wake up one morning and were able to play like that, they invested a lot of hard work, trying to eliminate their weaknesses and flaws, whatever they might have been. So what you should do is find out what you want to be able to play and work on this. And when you can play it, aim at the next goal and go for it.
