Actually I have an unusual one, night hiking with a night vision scope. you wear it on a head strap, it hangs in front of your eye like a Borg from Star Trek. Downside is a nice one costs at least $2,000. However you see some strange creature, such as this scary animal that I captured on camera......

I am satisfied with the essential needs of life and health for the most part. Night vision is cool though. For example in a boat, you can run at night without lights (not legally but no risk and nobody can see you). Animals act different, both wild and the domestic type. BoBo is always scared. He thinks "what in the heck are we doing, just two of us, and all the packs of dog eating monsters out here". He won't go near water in the dark (his instincts tell him that is where the ambush would take place). I point out rabbits but he can't see them. Skunks refuse to get out of the way, you have to watch for them, they are arrogant in the dark. I think that I saw a Cougar once (they have made it back to Kansas. That is when I started carrying Grizzly Bear pepper spray. Never use that unless you have to. Once getting out of my boat two stray dogs were on the shore and about to tear into BoBo. Next time I use the normal size pepper spray. Some lady 50 yards away at a dock was blinded for bit by it. I felt bad. But she said she would have done the same thing to protect her dog.

I only have 3 Les Pauls. Am satisfied with that many.

Read a book or two. Cooking might help take the boredom out. Art maybe.
