I thought it was very good. You should work on your legato on fast runs, and try to maintain fluidity more. The actual notes I thought were awesome. It was a great, melodic, solo. And it wasn't too long, which I like. I think a solo doesn't have to be five minutes long. Anyway, overall, very good. If someone made a lesson out of it, I'd take a crack at it. *winks to instructors*

Thanks. I find it very hard to stay fluid while improvising, because I have to think about what to do next - my ear ain't good enough. only been playing 3 years.

Well, the good news is, I think you're better then me. I've only been playing a little over a year, but you make my improvisations look like nothing.

first year for me was about finger technique.

Yeah, my first year I was teaching myself, so I didn't know much about technique. I didn't improve much, but now with GMC my technique is starting to go uphill. smile.gif

That's really good. The only improvement I can think of is to get a better sound from your amp cos it sounds a bit fuzzy and maybe turn the drive down a bit. Part from that it was great. smile.gif

progression is beautiful, and your melodies to...great job...
recording had to much noise,if you cant get a better recording of your guitar, try to cut the wave jut before your guitar comes in...
that way it would draw less attention....smile.gif
once again,job well done...

I liked it smile.gif Love the progression and choice of notes. There's some bugs in the fast runs, but i think thats something you will work out and fix real soon.

The recording is a bit messy though. There's some noise, and the lead guitarsound is a bit too dominating and puts the backing too far behind.

my soundcard is shitty, and I am getting this fuzzy static sounds from the signal cable. I don't really know ho to fix it, it does not appear if I connect headphones directly to amp. however, this was my first recording ever, I don't really know any tricks tongue.gif

again, about the fuzz, my low strings, especially E, sound very unclean even when not connected to comp. I do not know what this is about. I use 10-42 gauge. maybe it's too thick? or amp setup?

Edit: and about the shred, sometimes it's clean, other times not. I have a pregnant wife, so I don't really get enough time to practise. sad.gif
