I never really liked this place
Earth as well all know it
So full of hate
So full of death
I never wished to be born here
I never asked to be a part of this
All I wish is for the serenity
The solace of space
Some say I'm crazy

All you do is preach to me
And in return complain
All you bring is agony

This existence as we all know it

So cheap and frail
Your religion does nothing for
They don't want my peace, They want there own
All I want is solace
The absolute zero embrace
Some say I'm crazy
Some say I'm not right
How could you hate your own?

All you do is breed another war
All you do is preach to me
Well no more do I really care
I seek the solace of deep space
The space man is going they say
To drift in endless blacknees
What human could love such a thing
Its better that he's gone

The smoke clouds beat against the ground
The Space Man is lifting off
To wander the nothingness
To live in the void
His ship is now but a dot
Lost to the night sky
Nothing more than a spec
Lost amongst the stars
I'm not crazy
I know Im right
Yes I hate my own

This tune was inspired after reading Ray Bradbury's short story "The Rocket Man", Although this has pretty much no similarities. Anyway its about a man who grows to despise the condition of life on earth so much, He leaves and heads into space, Where he can finally live in peace, Whether it be alive or dead.
