Hey guys!

I discovered this device by Eventide and wanted to ask if anybody has tried it and what are your thoughts about it.

The H9 is AMAZING IMHO. It's like having one of the crazy expensive Eventide rack mount units in a pedal. The way it works though is that it comes with certain patches. Then you can buy more patches later. They call them algorithms instead of patches. The sound quality is superb. I've seen pedal boards with two more more of these on them.

Here is Pete Thorn with two H9 pedals on his board. But they are NOT cheap. (U.S. $400 to $700 depending on how many stock patches you want to come bundled in)

For folks looking to go the more budget route, here is a vid of the micro harmony pedal from hotone. About $100. Doesn't have anything close to the level of fx of the H9 but will get you some similar tones for a fraction of the price.

I'd say get the micro pedal by hotone that does some of what the H9 does. But it's a very limited version and not a competitor as such.
