Hi guys!

I decided to create this thread because I got some requests from you via private messages and chat to join my MTP program. I have notified Kristofer about it and hopefully things will work in your favor in some near future wink.gif

The list of members that I have right now is : Rated Htr, vampire18, lcdds, bigharry and CathShadow.
I hope I didn't leave anybody out. Please if you are interested in joining my MTP program send me a private message, notify me when I am in chat room, or simply post your request in this thread.

Thanks guys,

Pedja

i´m a lot intressted in being mentored ...

So i want to improve my improvising skills ... (i know the minor/major pentatonic(and pentatonic blues) in all 5 positons, but i simply can´t improvise nicely and with feeling, i feel like there is something missing (maybe the caged method would help my improvising ???,maybe it´s because i have litle licks in may "library" and when i improvise i simple place note from within the scales at random.. )

-also i would like to improve things like my vibratos,my bends, alternate picking ( to improve my speed ) and who knows maybe start sweeping if there is time ...

as for vids i only have my youtube account :s (https://www.youtube.com/user/BBPick91) but the vids in there are really crappy(like in the covers i only cover the distortion parts the others i just stand still :s),they where made some time ago (but for instance if you check the Sweet child of mine cover you can see my improvising problems during the main solo cause it´s all improvised )and where recorded with my phone cam ...
i´m going to buy a better cam and a toneport to record better vids at the end of this week if i have time..

hope you have some time for me and tell me if you want to know anything else ...

Ruben this is great that you are interested. Unfortunately we can get started from December as MTP rules don't allow new members to start until then. If you are still interested I will put you down for December smile.gif

MTP program runs for 3 months. In each month you have to do one weekly assignment and post audio and/or video of your work. At the end of the month with 4 weekly assignments you also have to post a lesson for REC program. We will chose a lesson and I will assign it to you when we get going. If you don't complete assignment (weekly) or REC for that mater some month, you are out next month and somebody else gets the chance instead of you.
I am very glad to hear that you are excited about it. I am too but lets wait for December and get going from start the right way.

The best tip I can give you about improvising right now is to learn Arpeggios and to solo using Chord tones. So if chord progression is I VI II V in key of C (C Amin Dmin G) then you should solo using only notes that belong to these chords (C = CEG, A min = ACE, D min = DFA and G = GBD). That will improve your ear training and set strong foundation for what will follow further.

Hope that tip helps, I recommend also my soloing with arpeggios lesson that was actually a collaboration solo. You can find it HERE.
