Hello to everyone in GMC!

I feel a big wave of nostalgia as I am writing this, but since it's for the best, I will go on with it and tell you that I will no longer be active on the forum on a daily basis on an indefinite term, from February onward.

I have decided to take this turn in my existence, as I feel that my creative juices have run dry and I need to take the time to sort my life out properly and get back to music once again as I did it in the past. I have had a great time with all of you here in the last almost 4 years and a half and I have learned so many things for which I am grateful and I thank you ALL! Each and every one of you guys!

Now, hopefuly, this will be a good opportunity for me to work on new video lessons, so I won't be entirely gone tongue.gif In the mean time, I have a few words that I hope will stick with you on the long run:

- Be patient with yourself
- Work hard
- Believe in yourself
- Don't compare yourself to anyone - you are unique
- Learning an instrument is a continuous journey - Enjoy it!
- Don't turn music into a sport - the ONLY opponent is within, as our dear friend Ben said a long time ago!

I wrote all you guys that I work directly with, a message about your mentoring programs, so be sure to check it out smile.gif

See you around, beautiful people!

Cosmin

It's a bummer to hear but we can't be selfish - I've only worked with you for such a short time and have seen such improvements already and for that I can never thank you enough.

Like Jim S. said - it was always a great feeling waking up and knowing that there would be a clockwork response in our mentoring threads.

You are a wise person with a huge heart and I wish you nothing but the best! I look forward to hearing from you whenever possible.

Alo Cosmin,
You are sure going to leave a big hole in my musical journey. I'll miss your daily encouragement and advice but I understand you have to follow your heart and soul and I wish you all the best in the future. It must've took a lot of time looking after us all and I'm sure i speak for all of your personal students when I say thank you for your help not only with guitar playing but also for your inspiration and spiritual guidance. You helped my mind set like no one has before.

Sorry to hear that Cos. You will be missed!
But I completely understand. I'm thankful that the bulk of my music learning and general growing up was done pre internet.

Thanks for everything Cosmin! You have been a great and dedicated instructor here for as long as I have been around. I have had a lot of fun and learned much from the video chat sessions you used to do, as well as all the collaborations you have had a hand in over the years where you have provided sound advice and encouragement. I wish you the best of luck in all that you do and I look forward to hearing of your success in your musical journey. Rock on my friend! smile.gif

Hey everyone! Wow... what can I say... You kinda made a big man cry with his big sword and baddass guitars and all laugh.gif

It's amazing to read all your thoughts that were written here in this thread and all I can do is smile because I never actually realized that I was able to make such changes for you. I can only be glad it happened and I urge you to stick to the yellow brick road - trust me when I say this:

YOU can accomplish ANYTHING as long as you believe in it and you organized and discipline yourself to work hard and not stray from your path!

This year holds much action for me and to mention a few things... the new Days of Confusion album, playing as many festivals in Romania and maybe outside.

Another thing that I have already started working on, is organizing a second edition of the All Stars charity event - more bands, an open air arena this time and aiming for an attendance of at least 3000 people.

Then again, I always wanted to write my own guitar method, so I should also start working on that one as well tongue.gif

See you guys around and thank you for the warmth you have sent my way smile.gif
