I have habit to recline my right hand on strings when picking (mostly because of muting strings). So I have problem when picking bass strings (a little bit faster licks) because I lose "place" where I keep my right hand and stays it "in the air". Is it bad habit to recline right hand on string while picking?

i would suggest watching some of muris lessons, he places his hand heavily on string, from what i cant tell he just moves his hand behind the bridge when playing the E and maybe the A string
