Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Reason for choosing this lesson: This lesson really forces rhythm placement. I have a tendency to not listen to the backing track. With this lesson, rhythm irregularities would be glaringly obvious. It has a little repeated run and a faster run at the end that are doable allowing me to focus on faster picking exercises. There are some bum notes though.

Vibrato needs more work. Your thumb is way too high above the 6th string. I think that limits your overall playing a bit. Try to move it down and see if you feel more relaxed. Other than that - good job

I have exactly the same comment on you left hand position as in your other topics. It affects your vibrato as well. Try to play a bit wider vibrato, with the same "string amplitude" (always "bend" it to the same spot).

Good take Tom!
I have heard your previous two versions of my lesson and this one is definitely the best one. You have improved the sound, bending, vibrato and also left and right hand muting. I think you can go all the way with this lesson if you keep working on muting and vibrato. By playing this one over and over your overall feel will boost for this lesson so I really see you have fives for this one in future. Keep up the good work man!
