Well Muris, Ok, tribute was a dumb title. Tried to edit it.

I have been studying your playing closely as we all know. But I just want to say that over the last week you have been unknowingly teaching me to play your lessons a tad more from the heart. Thank you for teaching me that I must feel every note I make or it didn’t happen.

An Alt at 90, Since the one at the picnic was not too easy to hear. Missed a couple there at the end but I thought I might just leave this as a raw take.

Thanks for your comments.

It seems to help posting how I am doing, kind of a proof is in the pudding thing, Makes me work so much harder and also gives a goal to reach here and there. All about making it fun, right? smile.gif

Thanks for sharing Jason,
and your kind words are well appreciated,
glad I can be of any teaching assistance
which IS my purpose in a first place. smile.gif

Bb Beginner:
Generally good work, maybe few small issues timing wise
but I'm sure you'll nail that too as the time goes.
Would like to point at 6 strings arpeggio here,
it's sweeping so try not to play in alternate as you did,
do normal sweep with hammer-on on low E and pull-off on high E.
I know sweeping is sometimes even harder at low speed
but give it a shot, would achieve a lot from it. smile.gif

Alternate picking:
Still have minor problems with timings shifting but a lot more steady than first time!! smile.gif
I would suggest you to try it on clean sound as well,
that way you'll hear each played note clearly and have more focus on
which part to practice the most.

It's going quite well, you made me proud once more Jason,
and BIG + for showing us all your progress, thanks a lot!! smile.gif
