Wow,

Thank you so much Gab, I really appreciate your comments, it put me on cloud nine smile.gif

I really enjoy these even though they do take some time for my mind to get an idea and then to find the necessary royalty free samples I need, maybe I make too much of them.

Cheers Gab and thanks again. smile.gif

Hey mate,

I continued working on the creativity workout. I changed the end part and made some fills with the drums.
I aslo tried to mix the whole thing.

Waht do you think? Is it good or do i need to change some things?

Wow wow wow.

That is incredible Tim, I feel like taking mine off here now laugh.gif

You get the whole picture in music; melancholy, menace, anger but also the bouncy idea of a clown's act.

Well done my friend. You are an inspiration. cool.gif

Cheers

UPDATE: Half an hour later and I still can't get that riff out of my head, it's a complete ear worm cool.gif

Thanks a lot Phill smile.gif
Yours is also really awesome. It cool to see that every one made his own version but takes the mood over to the listeners 😎

Its nice that the riff stays in your head the it has a good vibe 😁
Sometimes when i play music for too Long i cant sleep and hear riffs or parts of music in my head all night.
I need to relaxx after playing to make that not happen.

Thanks for your kind words Phill and cant wait yo hear you next one 😎

You probably know this but it's called an "ear worm" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earworm

I love doing these creativity workshops, I've always felt that I've had a lot of creation inside me but never had the skills to get it out, at least with these workshops, being able to use samples along with my limited guitar skills, I can at least go part way.

I don't always do a full story as you can see on the first page of this thread wink.gif

It would be nice to see some more members having a go but I understand how hard it is to put your own stuff out there for all to see but I'd like to say now, come on in and have a go, NOBODY will be negative, even if it's just a couple of chords with no backing, that's fine, you've had a go.

Cheers

Yeah!!! This is killer Tim! Your song sounds like anything you could hear on a Netflix series. The riff is so catchy, and the vocals fit perfect with the style. I also think that the fast solo works great. The overall song made me think a bit on John 5 and Rob Zombie (have you heard his music?).

I can related perfectly the vibe of you song with the photo. It's dark, heavy, and energetic. It's interesting to see how you could give it a different feel compared with the tune that Phil created. This makes me think of how each of us can perceive things in a very different way. This process is very enrichment.

I also hope to see more students involved in this workout. As Phil said, everybody is invited. You don't need to provide a full song, you can record a melody, a chord or whatever you feel that describes the picture.

Thanks a lot for joining mate.

Thanks Phill. The earworm is exactly what i ment. I didnt knew the word so thanks for the lesson smile.gif

Yes these workout are great and i have to say that you are very good in it. Its also gard to search for good samples and make a whole song with a good feel of it.however i think you underestimate your own composing skills πŸ˜‰

I don't know the guys but i will listen to it to see what you mean 😎
YEAH i think that is very nice to see the difference but also to see and hear how much feelings you have on one photo. And how many different things we can make and play.
Im really glad you picked up the mood that i tried to bring over.
On to the next 😎
