Hey friends! How are you?

I'm happy to tell that I finally could upgrade my old monitors. I found the opportunity to sell some things that I wasn't using and when I started to search for a good pair of monitors, I was thinking on KRK VXT6, but suddenly I found a pair of used Dynaudio Bm5a, which I consider much better, at a very good price. So I didn't think to much and went for them! smile.gif

I need a new desk now or some stands to position them correctly but check how nice they look... wub.gif

Congrats Gab on getting new monitors! I delayed my monitors purchase for years, but once I got my first ones it felt like the best "music gear" purchase ever and I was wondering why I didn't do it sooner. Went for KRK Rokit 5 and I love them smile.gif
Is that the M-audio midi keyboard? Do you have the buttons on it programmed in Cubase? (like for recording, adjusting channel volume etc) Wonder if it gets usage in practice... as I'm lazy to install the needed software for those buttons to work on mine smile.gif

Thanks for the comments guys! Honestly I'm hearing things on music that I didn't know it was there! laugh.gif

I'm amazed of the dynamics, stereo image and frequencies that I can hear now. It's pure pleasure. smile.gif

yeah, this is M-audio Oxygen 25. I honestly don't use it to control Cubase parameters, I use it to record midi tracks using VST instruments. It's easy to search for the right sound and then record melodies with it. I've used it to control some VSTi synth parameters but not for cubase. But it's not a bad idea.

Thanks, it is good to know that I'm not the only one laugh.gif I met quite a few people with similar keyboard midi controllers that are not utilizing all the buttons, rather use it just as keyboards. Though, I think those extra buttons would be rather very useful for starting/stopping recording and adjusting channel mixes.

I've seen my girlfriend using controller's buttons a lot with ableton and arturia mini moog while composing electronic music, so I should be more influenced by her... biggrin.gif
